From Father to Son is the latest chapter of a journey that started last year with Earth Defenders. A trip designed by Lavazza, in collaboration with Slow Food, to witness and celebrate the intimate relationship between people and the land.
The horizon of the journey moves in Central and South America, telling, with the eye of Joey L., a generational shift between parents and sons. Thirteen stories of farm workers who become together the metaphor of the whole project: our future is written in our roots.
It is the knowledge of fathers, daily handed down by working together, that will enable the young generation to look forward and dream over, cultivating the relationship with the land and its products, through the principles of sustainability.

Fathers, children, old hands and dreams. Different generations work closely with the land to reap its fruits. Choosing life in the camp is a way of life that means passion for nature.

Having a land that is mine, with my home and my family makes me feel lucky and free.

I want my children to grow up with the value of honest work and diligence

When you have a land to cultivate, your land, that place is you're home. And if you take care of the land, it'll reward you, giving you unique products and quality. Nature is our home, is the future.

My children, and then their children will have this land to care

The quality of coffee is a matter of nature, heart and passion. Those who work the coffee knows it. The product becomes pride when who knows him loves him and protects him.

I know the coffee we have here, is a quality product. Here I can understand it's worth it
